The Medina County Animal Shelter is a county operated shelter. The shelter takes in stray dogs and owner surrenders. The Medina County Animal Shelter no longer takes in cats.

Save Ohio Strays

Save Ohio Strays is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, all volunteer organization based out of Wadsworth, Ohio. There is not a shelter location as all their animals are fostered by volunteers. Save Ohio Strays serves to place animals in homes to prevent premature euthanasia.
